Description
Leaving on Monday morning, students and staff will head to the YHA at Penzance and sort rooms etc. and then head to Sennen Cove beach the UK’s most westerly and preeminent surf beach. Over the next 5 days, students will get 6 fully coached surf lessons of approx. 2 hours each with all equipment provided. As we will be based in Penzance, timings for the evening entertainments of St. Michael’s Mount and the lido / geo-thermal pools visits will be decided in the week.
We also traditionally spend at least one evening at Gwenvor beach watching the sunset and playing beach games. There will be an RNLI safety session and beach environment talk with Dave Muir. Students will sleep in single sex dorms that are allocated to our school only and evening games will be organised by staff. As an outdoor and adventurous activity week, it really cannot be beaten in TEAMs week!
